FATIMA AT 13 IS ON A HAIR JOURNEY!

Hiya,
Got this email from 13 years old Fatima and was so moved that at her tender age rather than reading gossip blogs or playing video games she was reading my blog! She is so articulate and focused on succeeding at her hair journey! I think its all the motivation we need this Monday morning...below I share her mail and my response...

There are technological solutions like the shampoo for natural hair which are meant to serve those with real hair. It is equally important to realize that curly hair products are crucial for the people who have natural hair care curls. There is no exception to the trend of following celebs when it comes to natural hair weave. Medical professionals also recommend the natural hair products which are best for people with real hair.

  5. Dear Dabs, Fatima is on to something which will work in her favour for life. Many times, mothers believe they know what is best for their daughters' hair and so these girls are unknowingly subjected to what I now call 'torture' in the hands of hairdressers who know very little. If I know what I know now at Fatima's age, my hair would be much more fabulous. While many use the internet for playing games you are gaining knowledge from it. Fatima, Dabs is right, you are an inspiration and Im looking out for your blog sometime. Treasure your hair and keep up the good work.

  6. Thank you Miss or Mrs. Sisimi. My friends think it is funny that I want to grow out my Nigerian hair from neck length to about shoulder length in one year but I believe it will happen for me and my mum is actually very supportive of my hair journey.
