Been super lazy to sieve through all the 300 plus pictures that were taken at the Salon day out last week Sunday but I finally got to it, sat down and have brought them to you!!
Once again HUGE thanks to all the wonderful ladies and gents that stopped by on Sunday, we had a sign up sheet and 145 names were signed on at the end of the day- that was just mind boggling to me considering my last salon day outs though they had a different format, only attracted about 20 people max!!
So without much a do, here are some pics from the day;
GORG LADIES WALKING THE RED CARPET;
COURVEZ SKIN CARE; Brought us sugar scrubs, great for exfoliating. She also talked about the importance of drinking spring water, Evian to be specific :)
STELLA'S ADDICTION- Stella's presentation was about threading eyebrows..

The After;
Both hairs finally sunk as I shared tips on balancing hair porosity and the dangers of low or high porosity...
Another vendor; WIGS BY TYPE 4 presented their machine made u-part wigs...
Lade of the blog Rehairducation and her sister assured the audience of the durability and versatility of the wigs...
The After;
The treatment we whipped up contained; Palm oil, conditioner, castor oil, aloe vera juice and honey...
The After;
Kemi Lewis of KL NATURALS demonstrated a hair mask using rhassoul clay on Berry Dakara.
She said with the clay mask, you don't need to wash or condition-it does both.
From the way Berry was feeling her hair afterwards, I concluded that I have to try Rhassoul clay!
Next up was Leslie Okoye of Cookie Skin who took on questions about skin care and skin issues...
The rep from HAIRVEN demonstrated how their products work to keep hair extensions shinny and long lasting.
Next up was Protein Deep Conditioning with Sheyi...we mixed cholesterol conditioner, aloe vera juice, coconut milk and coconut oil and an egg.
Applied it all round her hair and showed the audience quick massaging tips.
The final tutorial was trying out the Beautiful Textures Texture Manageability System that claims to have the ability to transform natural hair to straight hair for 6 weeks without reversion...Mayokin was the volunteer for this tutorial;
We read the instructions together;
The instructions said after washing and conditioner, we should apply the leave in conditioner and wait 20 mins, so in the mean time another vendor- Dr. Egypt made a presentation.
When the time was up, we blow dried as instructed and then straightened.
Right before our eyes, her hair was looking like she had a relaxer in it...
The TMS also left her hair shinny!!
THE AFTER; Straight hair that's supposed to stay that way for 6 weeks, we will check in on Mayokin for a 1 week post TMS Verdict...

Time for the RAFFLE DRAW;
A random number was picked from the basket...
After 2 tries and the ladies picked had left, we tried a third time and ...
Ebele's name was called out to her's and our delight, she was sitting at the very front row!!

KALOS BEAUTY Brought to us the brand MORINGER FOR LIFE; They offered moringer face masks amongst other moringer treats, loved their moringer lip balm which I got to try...

NAZURI CURLS- Ifeyinwa brand rep of Nazuri curls showed us her collection of natural looking weaves perfect for ladies with natural hair.
Then it was time for the porosity test; Tolullope volunteered and we put her hair in a bowl of water and watched to see how it sank...
But it didn't...it floated, so I asked for another volunteer while Tolullope's hair floated :)

Then while she went under the steamer, Tayo of MY MAKEUP NG came on. She showed us how to air brush...
